Industrial lifting requirements often involve loads, dimensions, operating conditions, or production processes that standard equipment was never designed to handle. Interstate Lift develops purpose-built lifting equipment around the actual application rather than forcing the application to fit an existing product.
Our systems can be engineered for manufacturing facilities, maintenance operations, production lines, heavy equipment, large fabricated assemblies, specialty fixtures, and other nonstandard loads. From Concept to Completed Lifting System
Every custom lifting project begins with understanding exactly what has to be lifted and how the equipment will be used. We review the load weight, dimensions, center of gravity, available lifting points, required travel, floor space, operating environment, duty cycle, available power, and any special access or production requirements. Those details establish the foundation for a system designed around the application rather than an off-the-shelf configuration.
From there, Interstate Lift develops the mechanical and control configuration needed for the job. Depending on the application, custom industrial lifting systems may incorporate synchronized lifting points, specialized carriages or fixtures, modified column spacing, application-specific controls, portable or fixed arrangements, and capacities tailored to the load. Service access, operator use, durability, and future maintenance are considered as part of the design—not after the equipment is already built.
Once the design is established, the lifting system moves through manufacturing, assembly, system integration, and functional testing. The goal is to deliver equipment that arrives ready to perform the work it was designed for and can be supported throughout its service life.
